Job Summary
As the Director of Coordination in you'll play a crucial role in maintaining efficiency and excellence. This role will maintain department efficiency by overseeing coordination processes and managing a team of HHA/PCA coordinators. You'll cultivate positive relationships with clients and families, conduct regular check-ins to assess performance, and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders. You'll also contribute to incident reporting, conduct performance evaluations, and manage schedules for operational continuity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain department operation efficiency by overseeing and optimizing all coordination processes.
- Manage a team of HHA/PCA coordinators to ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation, facilitating smooth caregiver-client matching.
- Cultivate positive relationships with coordinators, clients, and families, offering support, empathy, and assurance throughout their homecare journey.
- Conduct regular check-ins and meetings with coordinators to assess performance, address concerns, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication with executive teams, clients, contracts, and team members.
- Assist HR in conducting corrective counseling sessions for caregivers as needed.
- Key member of incident reporting team, responsible for intake of situations, evaluation, review and making recommendations for corrective action for individuals or general procedures.
- Conduct annual performance evaluations for administrative employees.
- Audit coordinator for case loads, analyze patient care standards, policies, and procedures to enhance quality, and plan staff resources for optimal care delivery.
- Manage monthly on-call schedules and coordinators' vacation schedules to maintain operational continuity.
- Weekly review pre-billing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in leadership roles, successfully leading teams to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Work Environment:
On-site
Pay Range: The hiring range for this position is $95,000-110,000/annually. Various factors will determine final compensation such as a candidate’s years of relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.EHC1000
